Impact

Priority and Funding

The WIKI upgrade is funded for 50 days.

Addtition of the (minumum) IDM connector work to this project adds a requirement for 10 more days.

Adding the Genomics split to this project is an additional requirement for 20 days.

It is believed at this time that upgrading to Oracle 12g (which is now in scope) - can be consumed in the additional days. However a risk will be raised to highlight that more days may be required.

To complete all of the work in scope requires 80 days (-50 days funded) = 30 additional days required.

Impact and Dependencies

The new version of Confluence v5.9.5 is supported on oracle 12c - support for 11g is at end of life. UoE are currently running Oracle 11g. In order to remain within the support criteria requried by Atlassian - there is a dependency to move to Oracle 12c as part of this project. There is currently a project - INF110: Install Oracle 12c - to install and test Oracle infrastucture.

This project will leverage the work done by INF110 and utilse the new Oracle 12c instances as they become available.

Project INF110: Install Oracle 12c - will migrate the data from wiki DEV (11g)  to DEV (12c).
