CRM Report finalised; recommendations discussed; next steps agreed

Aaron has completed the CRM Report detailing what our new CRM will be required to do. His recommendation is to build a bespoke system on Drupal; having discussed this with the University's CRM Architect, we will not take this approach and will instead procure an off-the-shelf system which we will customise to our needs (likely Salesforce).
Next steps:
1. Map all processes and data entry points (draft begun; to be finished Aug / Sept if possible)
2. Show these to CRM Architect along with recommendations of what our new system needs to do
3. CRM Architect builds demo CRM site; SRS decides if this is suitable (before xmas 2019)
4. SRS procure new CRM and contract CRM Architect or external provider to configure it (Jan - March 2020)
5. SRS migrate data from current CRM to new CRM (March - June 2020)
6. Comms train SRS staff in how to use new CRM (July 2020)
Note: The implementation of a new system will not begin until we have completed the move of the Department's Campus Fund applications tool, Sustainability Awards platform, and other smaller services off of Cerebro and onto the MySRS platform (completed by March 2020).
