Work/Task Breakdown

Infrastructure

1. Confirm suitable infrastructure with ASTA
2. Revise ASTA TAD
3. Request new Infrastructure and any firewall changes with ITI
4. Confirm Infrastructure established and any required additional components in place
5. Create Operational Documentation

ASTA Upgrade

1. Establish all pre upgrade tasks with ASTA
2. ASTA to provide macro to assist in unlinking tasks to timesheets
3. Complete tasks to unlink tasks to timesheets
4. Archive all 09/10 and 10/11 data
5. Provide Database copy to ASTA for confirmation that ready to upgrade
6. ASTA to complete all night before upgrade tasks
7. ASTA to work with UoE to install upgraded software, license manager and archive manager on new infrastructure
8. ASTA admins to complete testing prior to release to all users

Republish Guidance

1. ASTA admins to review and update guidance if required due to upgrade
2. Republish user manuals and supporting materials
3. If agreed required, deliver refresher training to teamplan users

Resources Skills and Cost

ASTA standard per-day rate is £850, plus travel expenses. Remote consultancy day rate is £750 but the preference is to have ASTA on site, this would also allow time for an overview of any new functionality. As we would need to upgrade TEST before LIVE two days consultancy may be required.
