Project Summary:

The request to access certain student data took too long to review with Student Systems, and therefore formal approval has yet to be granted to setup database views on the EUGEX database in TEST & LIVE.

Without live data this innovation project cannot be progressed further, as it makes it impossible to rapidly innovate to meet school requirements. I aim to meet with Student Systems at the end of July to make a final case to allow live data to be used for this project, even though the web app specification hasn’t been completely defined at the outset.

I believe we are close to reaching an acceptable solution that would further the progress of this project, however, as we have missed the opportunity to have an initial web application available for start of term this September, I think it is best to close this innovation project at this stage. There is no guarantee that Student Systems will agree to allow live data to be used for this project, however if Student Systems are agreeable, then I will suggest making a joint innovation proposal for the next innovation round.
