LAMP / WIMP Platform Upgrade

Achievements :

• Acceptance Test of Platform using the Path application
• Path has been through Acceptance Testing with signoffs from Student Records, and Student Systems Partnership 22-Mar
• Other applications on Lamp have been migrated onto the new platform, but are still to be checked out in DEV

Issues

• RED ISSUE :  Replan project, and milestones

Next Steps :

• Deploy new platform
• Deployment of Path in LIVE on the new Lamp server 18-Apr
• Re-open and re-plan the Migrate other Applications onto new Lamp Platform'
• Other applications on LAMP to be verified and tested out in DEV that they work on new platform

 Achievements This Period

• Issue with networks proved a 'blocker' for the application to move to LIVE.  Network fixes for Phase 1 due for completion 9th April.  Following this, the Service Management team should be able to move the Wiki Application to LIVE Metro Stretch Cluster.

• Phase 2 - design of Wiki Database move to VM has commenced.

 Issues

• Risk 12 - Delays for Phase 2 design due to recent industrial action.

 Next Steps

• Move Application Tier to LIVE. 

• Decision to suspend project until July/August.
