Achievements this Period

• Post Dev migration testing complete with some issues found and mostly resolved.
• Review of APPS migrations started, and start of environment build while waiting for testing to complete.

Issues

• Milestones for remaining GEN will not be met and to be reviewed with the team.
• Issues encountered with CALMAC and Insurance applications that require a security setting to be altered. An assessment will be carried out by Dev Tech on the security implication of lowering to this level and the risk will be reviewed at WIS.
• Applications running on ColdFusion 10 and 11 are not supported or able to connect the Oracle 12.2 pluggable database. Development resource will review and the outcome will be reviewed at WIS
• Extra budget is required as work is on-going with GEN in 17/18 which was anticipated to have been completed in 16/17.

Next Steps

• Milestones to end of GEN to be planned
• All issues to be resolved with GEN and migrate to TEST
• Integration completed and UAT started

RAG Commentary

Setting project to RED

Issue. There are problems found with some application when testing GEN DEV post migration to DEV. These required development input which is resourced to investigate and resolve. Other problems were encountered that required time to diagnose and resolve and document for migration to TEST.

Project is RED due to milestones needing revised.

• DR testing completed successfully.
• IDM Dashboard Migration completed and as the last deliverable the Delivery milestone has been marked complete.

• Initiate project closure ready for 29 September.
• Budget swap with HSS014 still to be completed.

Cost is rated amber only to reflect the fact a budget swap is still to be completed, which explains the 26 days unallocated.

• Project currently suspended awaiting definition / direction from the Project Sponsor, at this stage no further passwords are to be reset
• Project Proposals with associated estimates (See ISSUE #2 below) have been presented to the Project Sponsor and await direction / a decision

• ISSUE #2:  Project Requires Definition / Decision On Its Direction 

Next Steps

• Re-plan / move the project forwards based on the outcome of the decision by the Project Sponsor, who is going to consult with the Chief Information Security Officer

RAG Commentary

ISSUE: The Project is currently suspended awaiting direction from the Project Sponsor once they have consulted with the Chief Information Security Officer Regardless of the outcome it is expected that both time and cost are going to increase and milestones will need to be re-agreed / set. Meeting arranged between Project Sponsor and Alistair Fenemore 08/09/2017.
