Staff and students have been operating more and more on a 24x7x365 basis. Service availability is key to ensure this. While our infrastructure is robust, issues to arise and as we do not have personnel on hand to the same timeframe, an automated facility is required.

Delay on Jira upgrade as PM has not been found.

• Final test in Build & Analysis stage delayed by staff illness - sign-off postponed

• Consultancy session held with XMA to review their report on 25th February 2016
• Agreed next steps for project as output from this session
  • Project team to confirm top 5 outcomes and confirm different level tiers of databases
  • XMA to complete a framework for output, review statement of work with SQL technician for Audit and confirm associated costs and timescales for this work and when this can commence. Solution Manager work to covered under presales engagement.
  • XMA to provide initial update by 15 March 2016
  • Project Team to work with Project Sponsor and Production Management to complete current cost baseline for management of existing SQL infrastructure

• Further PICCL to be submitted to revise Analysis and Design milestones on confirmation of statement of work from XMA

• Learn architecture documented for SCOM configuration which is now in progress.

• Microsoft "Chalk & Talk" sessions planned with ITI w/c 14/03/16 to build on SCOM knowledge.

Achievements in Last Period

• Iteration 1 completed, 4 stories done.
• Iteration 2 started and due to complete on 4th March.

Issues

• The software developer has been conflicted several times due to work being needed on TTU011 and COM022.  As a result, less time has been spent on INF115 meaning that the delivery is at risk.

Next Steps

• Complete Iteration 2.
• Adjust resource bookings and increase effort.

RAG status AMBER due to risk that Release 1 is delayed.
