Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary

The programme manager considers that overall the programme is GREEN, as all projects which were not withdrawn will be delivered this year and within the programme budget.

It is expected that the HR Balance row will reduce further from the current 42 days as the 30 days set aside to deliver reports not delivered under HRS077 are expected to be produced through another channel.

This further reduction will result in an increase to the average monthly utilisation rate.

With the postponement until future years of the upgrade of Erecruitment to Oracle 12c, there are a significant number of days remaining in the balance row which are currently unallocated. These days are expected to be returned to the portfolio, with the agreement of he programme owner. New in-year projects should fall under the compliance category.

The Closure Report was signed off by the Sponsor and the Project Team following the closure meeting on the 29 May, see Closure Milestone.
The project closure and report was approved by WIS on 2 June 2017.

Achievements:

Internal project resourcing agreed to take over from contractor.
Revised project budget
Revised budget approved
Majority of RESAST with code have been resolved
A fix has already been successfully completed this month relating to CONFTE (HRS092-10) and the bug with a smaller number of RESAST (HRS092-12) is in progress

RESAST (HRS092-12) to be resolved, although 143 records are affected and is required it is not holding up general live testing
Support HESA testing
RESAST will require data file loaded at end July

This project has been withdrawn from the current year as the end. of life for Oracle 11g has been extended till 2020 . There may be no requirement for the upgrade if erecruitment is replaced. This project will therefore be planned for 18/19-19/20.
