Achievements

• New Test environment
  • The configuration has been completed by KSL and is now available for initial functional testing
  • KSL have advised of the remaining activities for the new Test environment
• Kx version 2017
  • A project review has been undertaken with the project team to accommodate the scope change to incorporate the Kx 2017 upgrade
  • The upgrade has been applied to the current Test infrastructure to enable functional testing to be completed w/c 19th February
• Test Scripts
  • The itemised quote supplied by KSL has been approved by ACE (except for the two browser based tests, as they were felt to be unnecessary
• Performance Analysis
  • KSL have supplied the system performance analysis report of the system timings across the various environments (namely, v2015, v2015.1, v2017 and Archiving)
  • Access provided to ACE technical staff to review application performance on KSL environments
• KSL Concerns
  • Meeting with KSL Account manager to review concerns regarding progress and communication issues

Issues

• Project Scope
  • There has been the requirement to re-plan the project to accommodate the Kx 2017 upgrade
• Testrail
  • The installation of TestRail for ACE is still to be completed
• Kx 2017
  • Functional testing delayed by one week as mid February is a particularly busy time for certain departments within ACE
