Priority and Funding
This is a priority 2 Compliance project and is core funded.
Impact and Dependencies
The project will provide an IDM system with all connectors upgraded to the compliant and supported Oracle SOA 11g. This will give ongoing stablity to the existing system and provide the opportunity to enhance and expand usage of the features availabe in the new SOA environment.
The project will provide an upgrade to Grouper to a supported system version which will also provide easier LDAP connectivity
Background
Oracle will withdraw support for SOA version 10g in December 2013 and to retain support, and to take advantage of the enhanced development opportunities provided by the new version, it will be necessary to port the IDM system to Oracle SOA Suite 11g.
