Project Brief

Background

Perspective is a security incident tracking system, installed in 2013 (EST073). The system is supported by a Canadian company called PPM2000.

Perspective allows the security team to log time stamped information about a happening incident, or accident in the University estate. It has a web client front end and records information inside a SQL server database.

Since the installation, no upgrades or changes have been made to the Perspective system, which is currently running version 3.2.
