Systems Design

• Clarification on current system configuration
• Review and consolidate upgrade instructions
• Update Technical Architecture Document (TAD)

• Build/ Configure Phase

• Business to confirm that TEST system is working as expected prior to upgrade
• Take a copy of the LIVE database and data and apply to TEST
• Complete User testing following copy from LIVE to TEST
• Upgrade the TEST system and document process
• Reveiw estimate following TEST upgrade to ensure robust

User Acceptance Phase

• Complete user acceptance testing 
• Investigate where required
• Complete Implementation Plan and Implementation Record
• Complete Deployment check List
• Sign-off User Acceptance Phase

Deployment Phase

• Business to confirm that system is working as expected prior to upgrade
• Take a copy of the LIVE environment
• Deploy to LIVE/ production environment
• Complete post deployment checks
• Sign-off Deployment Phase

This project will utilise resources from;

Security Team - system administration and user testing IS Apps Project Services - project mangement IS Apps Development Technology - investigate requirements, carry out a copy from LIVE and upgrade both the TEST and LIVE environments IS Apps Production Management - will provide on-going system support, approve TAD and all support documents
