Status

No activity since August's report, so this remains as per last August:

• Planning, project brief, and initial risk assessment completed.   This risk assessment has confirmed that a PIA will be required as personal data, in the form of UUNs, will be captured.
• Components for the devices were purchased and the production method documented.
• Lilee s/w security issues from previous build fixed. 
• Method established fro deploying software upgrades to Lilee devices at scale.
• Students were employed through June and July and they build the bulk of the Lilee devices, although more work is required to complete this.
• The Server has been stood up and Python updated to v3.

Issue:

No resources have been identified for actual deployment of devices to sites.

Next Steps:

• Planning to complete remaining deliverables (no date set for this yet, and sometime in October is estimated earliest date due to other priorities within the IoT team).

  • Completion of Lilee device builds.
  • Agree how devices will be deployed to site.
  • Establish the operational service including DR procedure.
  • Agreed plan for further service roll-out.

Notes:

• As planning for remaining activities has not completed, the current project delivery completion date of 20th Dec, and project closure date of 31st Jan are estimates.
