Achievements this period
- New issue identified and fixed in TEST for translation of Exam requirement for 'student to be seated in a special arrangements exam venue with less than 25 people - but has no other exam adjustments'
- Bug fixing and upgrade of Exam Web Timetables to new version of Python 3.6, Django 2.2 is in progress
- Limited other progress - limited business resources while the Exams team focus on prep and delivery of the Dec 2019 exam diet
Issues
- Change of business lead - Alison Ramsay moving to new role in Student Systems in Jan 2020 - expecting less exam team availability for project work for short term in Jan to March 2020
- Slow performance in LIVE is being investigated by the IS Production
- Pending changes in Exam Scheduler Connect in TEST haven't yet been tested by the Exam business team
- Resource conflict for Project Manager with TTU017 Course Timetabling Scientia Upgrade ( now resolved for Jan 2020)
Next Steps
- WP2 - Exam team complete testing of Student system connector changes ( expect Jan 2020 at earliest?)
- WP2 - deploy to LIVE during Jan 2020, ahead of start of scheduling of April / May exam diet
- WP3 - project team continue working through the 10 JIRAS carried over from SAS005
