Achievements this period

  • Limited progress - limited business resources while the Exams team focus on prep for the Dec 2019 exam diet
  • Bug fixing  and upgrade of Exam Web Timetables to new version of  Python 3.6, Django 2.2 is in progress

Issues

  • Slow performance in LIVE is being investigated by the IS Production
  • Pending changes in Exam Scheduler Connect in TEST haven't yet been tested by the Exam business team  
  • Resource conflict for Project Manager with TTU017 Course Timetabling Scientia Upgrade

Next Steps

  • WP2 - Exam team complete testing of Student system connector changes ( expect  Dec 2019 earliest?) 
  • WP3 - project team continue working through the 10 JIRAS carried over from SAS005
  • WP2 - deploy to LIVE during Jan 2020, ahead of start of scheduling of April / May exam diet

RED Issue - Time - WP2 not yet tested by Exams team - missed milestone - narrow window to deploy the Connect changes to LIVE before start of scheduling for next Exam diet in Jan 2020. Project Manager has had limited time to push this forward while focusing on the TTU017 Course Timetabling Scientia Upgrade, and Exams team are focused on the prep for the Dec 2019 exam diet
