Meeting was held with the business and a university staff member with FileMaker experience in order to get timescales at the end of December. They indicated that there would be a possibility that, subject to estimate and manager approval, they could complete the work required.
Issues
Cost RED: funding needed for a FileMaker consultant to carry out the installation of FileMaker Server and to set up or show how to set up individual users has not been approved
Time RED: the Plan for implementation agreed (including all milestones until Project Closure) milestone has not been achieved due to the lack of contractor funding. The is currently being pursued with a meeting with the business and a potential source to gauge potential cost. The business user and project manager will then agree a new plan with the project sponsor.
