Achievements in Last Period:

• Analysis started re new subject coding and implementation from JACS to HECoS- Review with stakeholders
• Subject coding structure agreed with keys stakeholders- BA progressing with files mapping for import.
• System changes progressed (SITS, and downstream systems)
• Completed  brief and plan of work/milestones

Issues:

• Project manager has left the project (conflict with Core Systems)- being covered by programme manager https://secure.projects.ed.ac.uk/unpublished/project/sac082/issues/1
• Industrial actions impact with developer /IS Apps to be clarified https://secure.projects.ed.ac.uk/unpublished/project/sac082/issues/2
• As a result of BA's annual leave  and SITS upgrade work, the conversion to Hecos in Dev environment will be delayed to start of Jan
• Dependency with Tribal changes required in SITS to suit new code structure: impact on system changes. Need firm date of code change release. Being raised by Dev team leader

Next Steps:

• prepare file mappings for 1st conversion in Dev
• restart system changes after industrial action

Milestones:
