RAG Status

Red due to increased time due to changing scope on the storage infrastructure. However, the project is able to deliver service despite this, using existing available capacity.

Achievements in Last Period

• Final workflow for setting up DataStore allocations created
• design work for network extensions completed
• network extension on-site work with contractors scheduled for June
• backup capacity extensions ordered
• compute nodes connected and burn-in tests complete

Issues and Risks

• Technical work still to be defined, there is a risk this will throw up unknown challenges
• Resource availability remains fragile
• Scope changes due to additional emerging HPC storage requirements

Next Steps

• Backup capacity extensions to be delivered and installed
• Remaining budget spend to be planned out
• Commissioning of compute infrastructure network extension
• Commissioning of compute node extension
• Re-scoping HPC storage solution and implementation plans
