• Memorandum of Understanding has been agreed and signed off.
• Interim workflow for setting up DataStore allocations defined
• Initial service on compute cluster being granted via existing nodes
• Commissioning of remaining equipment to be scheduled in May
• Backup solution specification obtained

Issues and Risks

• Technical work still to be defined, there is a risk this will throw up unknown challenges
• Resource availability remains fragile

Next Steps

• Backup infrastructure to be ordered and delivered, remaining budget spend to be planned out
• Commissioning of compute infrastructure network extension
• Commissioning of compute node extension, including burn in period
• Commissioning of HPC storage
