Achievements in Last Period:

  • v5.16.2 was deployed to both the development and test environments, the latter ahead of plan.
  • Project raised in categorisation to 'Highest.'

Issues:

  • No forward plan to compensate for loss of the Project Manager in January (reason for reporting a RAG status of RED).

Next Steps:

  • Preparations for deployment of v5.16.2 to the live environment.
  • Further discussions to be had with the 3rd party Elsevier on the use of a cloud portal.

The project manager is due to end their contract in January 2020. Due to a shortage of resources in Project Services we currently have no availability to take on the PM role should the contract not be extended. Failure to assign a project manager in January will delay the project, impacting our preparations for the REF submission in November 2020. Effort is being progressed on a contract extension.
