Achievement this period

• painting of the walls and ceilings in the living room, kitchen, bathroom and hall completed to plan
• painting of the woodwork in the living room, kitchen, bathroom and hall completed ahead of plan
• work on external painting started to plan

Issues

• The children have not yet selected the paint colours for their rooms. A risk has been added to the risk log that should they not select colours that this may cause a delay to the project plan. Agreed contingency with Project Sponsor is to paint the rooms magnolia should this risk become an issue.
• There is a risk that it might rain and it will not be possible to complete the external painting as planned. It has been agreed with the project sponsor that the external painting could be completed at a later date shoud this risk become an issue.

Next steps

• complete external painting
• paint walls, ceiling and wood in children's bedrooms
• carpets fitted
• project completion

Project status overall is AMBER due to emerging issues with the children's paint colour & the weather that may impact the targetted dates.
