Achievements in the last period

  • Project Brief written.
  • Work allocated to the first sprint has been developed and user tested.
  • Requirements to be included in the second sprint run have been identified, discussed and scheduled to be worked on.
  • An initial introductory meeting has been held with Occupational Health. 

Issues

Due to limited availability of key project team resource, it was agreed between the Project Sponsor and the Project Manager that work would commence in advance of  a signed off Project Brief.  Efforts are now underway to ensure the project is brought back into full governance with approval being sought from document reviewers.

At the outset of the project, it was agreed that efforts would focus on completing as many of the enhancement requirements as possible. In creating a Jira Product Backlog, further requirements for future attention have been identified. A change record will be raised for awareness.

Next steps

  • To plan the work effort for sprint three. 
  • To agree and coordinate on a release date for implementing the system changes made in development under sprint one.
  • To progress with a demonstration of the eOPAS system as used by Occupational Health.
  • To contact Warwick , the 3rd party provider of eOPAS to discuss how an automated FitNote solution might be achieved.

The number of requirements has increased since drafting the Project Brief. It has been agreed with the Project Sponsor that whilst additional use stories can be added to the backlog catalogue, efforts to complete all within time and budget will be challenging and any outstanding work may be held and carried forward for a future project.
