Task Hours Validation - Total Hours (BRD ID 4.1)

When creating or editing a Task, additional validation ensures that the total hours saved for a Task is not greater than the span between specified start and end times.  This validation is only applied if both the start and end times are specified for the Task and the Task spans a single day (i.e. the start and end datesfor the Task are identical).

Handling of Assignments with Split Costings (BRD ID 1.5a)

Split costings are now handled in eTime as follows:

• the HR data feed pulls across split costings for any Assignment and stores this information in eTime separately from the primary costing for the Assignment (the method of calculating the primary costing for the Assignment has not been changed);          
• a warning is shown to any HTBN Approver or Administrator when viewing data relating to a Time Recorder who has an Assignment with a split costing;
• a warning is shown when any HTBN Approver or Administrator creates or edits a Task relating to an Assignment with a split costing;          
• when any Task is included in a Payroll extract, the Cost Centre, Job Code and Account Code are only included in the extracted data if they are different from the Assignment primary costing.

Task Search Enhancements (BRD ID 1.17)

The following new features have been added to the Task Search in eTime:

• it is possible to search for Tasks by Task Workflow Status (e.g. Task  Submitted, Approved at Level 1, etc.);
• it is possible to search for Tasks by Assignment Number for HTBN Tasks and Employee Reference for Research Tasks;
• search criteria are now shown in the page heading for Task Search Results;
• it is possible to download Task Search Results in a CSV file either before or after the Task Search is carried out (the CSV file includes the search criteria specified).

User Search Enhancements (BRD ID 1.16)

The following new features have been added to the User Search in eTime:

• it is possible to search for Tasks by Employee Reference;
• it is possible to search for Tasks by a range of level 9 Cost Centres and see all users who are authorised to access any Cost Centre falling within the range;
• search criteria are now shown in the page heading for User Search Results;
• it is possible to download User Search Results in a CSV file either before  or after the User Search is carried out (the CSV file includes the search criteria specified).

Payroll Extract Link to Task (BRD ID 1.15)

A View Task icon now appears alongside each entry in the Task list for the Payroll Extract and Payroll Extract Summary pages.  In addition, wherever a Task is not editable from the following pages, the View Task icon allows full details for the Task to be viewed in a read-only format:

•  View Pay Claim;
•  Task Search Results.

Research User School and College (BRD ID 1.13)

School and College may be set for a Research Time Recorder via eAuthorisations and these values will be shown in User Details for Research Time Recorders.  In addition, School and College are used in Research Reports such as the Research Timesheet Summary Report.

Pay Claim Approver Listing (BRD ID 1.18)

A Pay Claim Approvers icon now appears alongside each Pay Claim in the Approve Pay Claims page and also in the Pay Claim listing for an HTBN Time Recorder.  This allows an HTBN Approver or Administrator to view the list of Level 1 and Level 2 Approvers for a particular Pay Claim.

Research Report 1 : Research Timesheet Summary (BRD Appendix 1)

The new Timesheet Summary report for Research Level 2 Approvers and Administrators summarises Approved FP7 productive hours (Chargeable and Non-chargeable time) by Time Recorder.  The report summarises Tasks for all Timesheets that have been Approved at Level 1 or Level 2 within the reporting period specified in the Timesheet Summary Report Criteria page.

Application Error when saving a Task
