Achievements:

  • The first module of the planned MicroMasters will be launched as a standalone MOOC in February
  • Discussions are ongoing to identify lead academics and to confirm funding requirements
  • DLAS Programme Board has agreed to utilise DLAS resources to support the delivery of this MicroMasters

  • RISK: DDI does not agree to support the development of the MicroMasters
  • RISK: Academics are unavailable to deliver to the target start date of the MicroMasters

  • Academic contributors to be identified
  • Confirm timeline for request for DDI funding and target start date of MicroMasters
  • Plan programme and initial module designs
  • Continue discussions with edX and market analysis to determine demand
  • Agree route and timeline to requesting funding
