| University Document Management System upgrade complete |
A project to upgrade the university's Document Management Service has been successfully completed. This project upgraded the eIntranet software to the latest application version. The project also moved and upgraded the underlying database to the current version Oracle 11g and onto the new corporate DB infrastructure. The new version now offers users some additional functionality and improved role management for buiness administrators. |

A new project to upgrade one of the University’s Document Management Systems has just completed planning. The project will upgrade eIntranet to version 6 from version 5.4. As part of the project the system will also be moved onto the new database infrastructure offering more resilience and improved performance. |
