Summary

All progress on the implementation will be reported on this site now as CIS009 winds down towards contract sign off.

Planning has been underway since late 2018, and will continue during the pre-contract award stage with the successful bidder.  Workshops are planned for April/May to fine tune the connectivity, wired and wireless information provided during the procurement process.  This will help prepare for low level design workshops and help the successful bidder fully understand the infrastructure of the network in detail.  Reviews of the wireless surveys will be undertaken (internal staff only) with a range of contacts for buildings which highlighted areas of concern in respect of coverage, or where specific issues have been identified, or use/purpose of the area has changed, and these will also be used to support the low level design workshops after contract award.
