After consulation involving Applications Management, Development Services, Learning Teaching and Web, and Student Systems Partnership, the following services have been shortlisted:

• Central Auth  (identity and groups ideally, identity as a basic)

• Student finance items

• Events booking events (get all current events, get event, get event by user)

• IS Alerts (get active alerts, get alert, get alert by tag)

• Library (resuing the API built for the library MyEd portlet)

• Learn (reusing the API built for the learn MyEd portlet)

• Timetabling (resuing the API built for the MyTimetable MyEd portlet, and book.ed API)

Also, I am working with Peter Pratt in Student Systems Partnership to do a proof of concept API on SITS.

Colleagues in College Computing Professionals Advisory Group (CCPAG) have also been invited to suggest APIs.
