Achievements This Period

  • Whilst no input has been reecived regarding Core Finance requirements, the project has been re-planned to complete the procurement question sets in January 2020
    • A series of meetings have been arranged in January to 
      • Complete the business requirements (excluding Core Finance requirements)
      • Continue the Data Protection Impact Assessment 
      • Complete the technical question set 
  • Initial contact has been made with a number of potential suppliers with regards to license costs, system integration along with implementation and training 

Issues

  • No further progress has been made regarding clarification of Core Finance requirements.  As a result, the completion of the functional question sets will now be further delayed

Next Steps

  • Determine Core Finance requirements
  • Prepare ITQ with regards to 
    • creation of functional question set and associated process flows
    • clarify requirements for Core System interface (if possible)
    • creation of technical question set

As it has not been possible to confirm the data interface requirements with the Core Finance system, there will be delay in finalising the procurement question sets, and as a result the project will require to re-planned once these details have been finalised. A delay at this stage will not impact on the business as it is the intention to deploy the solution along the Core Finance system implementation schedule.
