Achievements this period

• Development build completed
• Test pre-upgrade activity and preparation work completed to allow test upgrade to commence
• News Reader Portlet issues resolved
• TEST upgrade completed, investigating issues ongoing
• Prep work for UAT

Issues

• Review of project budget has been completed and additional funding has been requested of 50 days this is being agreed between Project Sponsor, WIT Programme Manager and DTI Programme Manager as funding is being requested from Digital Transformation programme. A meeting has been held with new DTI Programme Manager to provide overview of project and awaiting confirmation from Head of Project Services, Mark Ritchie 
• The project team agreed to revise milestones and these have been agreed and discussed with Project Sponsor. A PICCL to be submitted for approval this will also include any additional resource days required due to change in timescales as noted above
• Test upgrade has been delayed due to a number of factors e.g. key project resource limited availability, commitments on other projects, issues with export of data from current test database and database schema issues

Next Steps

• Commence internal UAT and then rollout testing to channel owners
• Load testing
• Pre live upgrade activity to commence

The project status is currently AMBER due to limited availability of resource to progress with test upgrade resulting in a protracted / delayed upgrade also agreement of additional project funding via DTI programme
