The project is well on course to sign-off the acceptance formally on the 4th June.

The channels have been QA'd by most channel owners, and the progress can be checked at this page

with most channels tested with no issue, or with acceptable issues, and UAT test period came to an end on the 29th as planned.

The project budget was increased by 15 days to 145 days, covering the post-delivery fixes for channels.

Achievements in Last Period

• PM and Programme Manager discussed priorities with Project Sponsor and Business Lead. It was clear that WEB008 is higher priority although Project Sponsor and Business Lead are anxious that progress is made on Year One; Programme Manager suggested reducing scope and transferring days back to the programme for WEB008
• All agreed to review the above when planning completed, and resources booked, on WEB008.

Issues

• Project Sponsor and Business Lead have prioritised WEB008 above WEB007; resource conflicts within Dev Services (priority of LMP projects) at this point in the year make it unlikely that WEB007 and WEB008 can be delivered without some change in scope.
• Business Lead is leaving the University, so commitment of time from the business for this project is likely to become more difficult.

Next Steps

• Confirm change to scope with project Sponsor, Business Lead, and Programme Manager when Project Sponsor returns from leave.
• Reschedule Milestones in agreement with project Sponsor, Business Lead, and Programme Manager (milestone dates now need to be revised in line with above).

Achievements this period

• Agreement with Project Sponsor that WEB007 be de-scoped to allow WEB008 to be completed this year.
• Planning phase completed.

Issues

• Planning phase sign off had been delayed, initially due to estimates and the transfer of additional days from the programme; Head of Service Management requested formal signoff from all MyEd channel owners involved in discussion with LTW. This has now been resolved.

Next Steps

• Complete Design.
