Issues

• Telephone and Student email data - Resolution of how this data will be gathered has been been challenging.  Two API solutions are now being progressed however it was not possible to make the data available for Go Live. See Change 8.

RED: The search engine is now live however a challenging issue arose in January in relation to the quality and security linked to current student email and telephone data. It was agreed two APIs were required to enable a robust solution and it was not possible to develop these prior to go live. The budget, resource, and milestones have been reviewed and outlined in Change 8.

• Workshop to identify and prioritise the areas of activity successfully held - workshop notes

Issues

• The infrastructure issue raised last month is being discussed in detail with ITI. At this time we are quietly confident that a solution will be possible. 
• Resource conflict has resulted in the milestones being moved out 2 months

EdWeb and EdGEL - Powering collaborative development

Completed actions

• University Website vision finalised.
• Team workshop to share vision and how this fits with D8 planning completed.
• EdWeb code sprint 12 Feb 2018.
• Drupal (rather than EdWeb focussed) code sprint planned for May 18 in Argyle House.
• DrupalCamp planned for May 19. LTW to sponsor event.
• Regular meetings of the EdWeb/EdGEL Task Force (15/1/2018 and 26/02/2018).
• Business School meetings to discuss D8 and Pattern Lab progress (15/01/2018, 19/02/2018, 20/03/2018).

Ongoing actions

• Mapping of development process against wider developer groups, e.g. LTW DLAM developers contributing to EdWeb issue resolution.
• Continue having transparent communication between the task force members, having responsibility to share with other stakeholders when relevant.
• Meeting with the Business School web team to reflect on the School's progress in adopting EdGEL and use of Drupal 8.
• Liaison with CSE regarding local code sprint organisation.
• Technical reps from the task force to meet with technical reps from the community to provide feedback and guidance on best practices to adopt EdWeb/EdGEL.

Planned actions

• Disseminate the long-term University Website vision to key stakeholders.
• Revisit roles & responsibilities in view of creating web service team(s).
• Future meeting planning.
