Short term workarounds were required to enable exams to be completed.
One area which is not going to use QMP after the end of September - this has required the legacy platform to remain rather than migrating this community; decommissioning to take place following the change freeze.
DSOR meeting held 29/08/19. It was agreed that the project cannot yet close due to issues which have come up in the period post deployment.
Issues
There are two issues preventing project closure and it was agreed to push the closure back to the end of October to allow the issues to be addressed (with consideration to the UoE Change Freeze):
Complete the Phase One School migrations and began preparing the School reports;
Complete Phase Two planning;
Complete replacement for lost FTE;
Refined the new Learn Foundations SharePoint;
Continued focus on training requirements for users;
Created web pages for the Learn Foundations Terminology and Checklist work streams;
Completed accessibility mapping for 1 x non phase one School;
Issues
Automation work stream slipped into Phase Two due to resourcing availability as a result of the Phase One deliverables which need to be delivered before automation can be undertaken. This work stream will be defined with support from the School Learning Technologists once roll over has been completed (Phase Two);

Achievements in Last Period
Post migration to the Cloud, some snagging issues found with Data feeds and timetabling feed. These have now been fixed and all feeds are running satisfactorily for Start to Term.
Some changes made to Learn MyEd channel and deployed to Live to make it more resilient for Start of Term
Interim and longer term solutions agreed for BI data feed. Work ongoing on the interim solution.
Data Retention Policy presented to the board, minor changes, ready to be published soon.
Phase 2 scope agreed with relevant stakeholders, estimates and planning in progress.

Post implementation review meeting held with project team members and the 3rd party.
Issues
Lack of timely and accurate communication from the 3rd party in the lead-up to go-live and on the day of implementation required unplanned management.
No clear date as to when the Reporting API and a final specification will be available from the 3rd party. Best guidance is that the pre-requisites to allow for an internal build will be shared Mid-Sept.
eMail delays experienced in answering questions to aid the VLE Integration work. Escalation and feedback on the issues has been passed to the 3rd party Relationship Manager.
