Achievements in Last Period

• Load balancer config for Live completed by ITI. This cannot be fully tested though until the Live install has taken place

Issues

• UAT not yet signed off as there is still the showstopper issue with managed access. LTW cannot conduct external UAT as they can’t give external users content permissions. QMP are working on this currently
• Because of this issue we will not be able to achieve deployment wb 7 January
• LTW, as soon as they have the manage access issue sorted, will go back out to community to discuss a new Live date
• Other issues
  • GLO questions don’t work – Mark D will pick up on return from leave
  • SSO – Mark D will pick up on return from leave

Next Steps

• Meeting has been set up 8 Jan with Mark F, Mark D, Mark L, Colin to discuss high availability groups for Live install and to come to a decision on how to update the TAD
• Load testing and DR testing – Mark D to decide dates
• Managed access issue resolved
• LTW to complete external UAT
• TEST & Acceptance signoff
• LTW documentation tasks to start when TEST signed off

Rag commentary:

Project is RED as the 'Manage Access' page error is a showstopper because we can't give users access to their content without that functionality working. This issue means that we will miss the deployment date for week beginning 7 January. LTW cannot go back to the community to discuss revised Live dates until the managed access showstopper issue is resolved

Achievements in Last Period

• Comms plan further developed - a number of committees booked for presentations.

• Handover to replacement PM begun.​

• Planning for campus based roadshows.

• Training team, objectives & timeline defined & agreed.  Training contractor recruitment begun.

• Checklist design underway.​

• Learning & Teaching Conference proposals submitted.​

• General user experience interviews playback session complete & planning of next user experience activity underway.

• Student user group created & sessions booked throughout first half of 2019.

• Task prioritisation & card sort activities launched – excellent reaction with almost 1,000 students responded and over 350 staff.

Issues

• No current issues however delayed recruitment of training contractor may have knock on effect if not resolved quickly.

Next Steps

• Design workshops for template, terminology & checklists
• Further user experience activity
• Communications & engagement at campus and School level

Rag commentary: 

RAG Status is currently RED - Replacement PM secured however training contractor not yet appointed. Training is critical to project's success & timeline for this workstream was planned based on trainer being available to start in January therefore move to red until successful recruitment. Path to GREEN, recruitment of trainer & re-plan of activity to allow deadline of training commencement in May to happen.
