The project current status is AMBER;  the project closure date is being pushed back further due to Business Lead availability. Business Lead availability subject to  competing higher priority work.

• Handover to replacement PM.

• Agreement on scope changes.

Project RAG status is currently AMBER due to PM resource conflict still ongoing and the need to repeat PM recruitment (new PM now confirmed to start 14/05/18). No escalation required at this time.

• Completed Moodle TEST application upgrade
• Set up user accounts and courses in TEST
• Commenced "Internal UAT" of TEST

Issues

• The Behat feasibility, now completed, incurred a couple more days of effort than expected; however, this can be absorbed within the project's contingency budget

• Finalise 'internal' UAT

Achievements in Last Period

Domain investigations are now completed: We escalated the domain issue to Mark Lang on 21 March. On 9 April a conference call was held between the technical staff from ITI, Dev Tech and QMP and all were happy that we could progress with an installation which fits with UoE infrastructure requirements (the AD issues were discussed and resolved and no further technical blockers were noted). 

• On 11 April it was confirmed that there will be a single set of infrastructure required (QMP’s option B), with test and live environments both running on the same infrastructure.
• DevTech have ordered the VM machines from ITI – we confirmed that TEST and LIVE environments should be set up at the same time (LIVE should be a clone of TEST)
• Can confirm that we expect TEST will be ready in the first half of May and on LIVE first half of July. Deploy Is 11 July.

Issues

Possible issue with load balancer re the url requests and this is being pursued –developers have said that there is an option for testing should there be delays

• Statement of works– was running late as the domain investigations took longer than anticipated but are now underway
• There was a week’s delay in the escalation of the domain issues being actioned  
• We have not been able to get ITI to commit to any timescales so the latest milestone changes have been completed on a most likely basis. Any delay from ITI  will cause the milestones to be seriously stretched  

Next Steps

• QMP to upgrade to v6 with DevTech support
• TEST signoff

Achievements in Last Period

• Build signed off on 18 April
• UAT scripts created by LTW
• Due to change freeze on TEST for Learn course rollover we agreed to move into TEST week beginning 30 April – Actual date agreed as 2 May as rollover will continue into 30 April
• Chris C has fixed the mobility bug and upped memory on DEV. TEST and LIVE currently sitting at 8gb so should not be an issue. (Last years upgrade issue was with the update overriding JMB settings)
