** AP23-041 (Replace OLLIE and CUPID) now expected to be delivered over 18 months - hence an initial estimate of the split in effort between 2012-13 and 2013-14 has been indicated - this is just a provisional estimate - the actual estimate will be refined as the options appraisal (STU229) progresses

AP23-041 Replace OLLIE and CUPID
Funded Planning Month Year Jan 2013 Delivery Month Year Jan 2014 RAG Status GREEN | Plan This is the pot of remaining OLL funded days to deliver replacements for OLLIE and CUPID, an initial 60 days have already been assigned to STU229 for the options appraisal and IS Apps work assocaiated with enabling OLL credit students to be keyed into EUCLID. Currently it is likely that OLL will wish to explore the options of buying in a 3rd party system , which will likely require future procurement and implementation projects to be funded from AP23-041, this activity is likely to be spread over 18-months. It is also likely that the requirements for OLLIE and CUPID will be dealt with separately , but that is dependant on the outcome of the STU229 Options Appraisal

STU220 ELTC Implement Class.net
Category: Funded Milestones
RAG Status GREEN | Report by Donna Cruickshank for August 2012 Achievements in Last PeriodELTC are continuing with testing on the Test virtual machine. They have also purchased a couple of additional modules which have been installed on both the Test and Live VMs and currently being tested. A Handover meeting was held with Tech Management to ensure the VMs would be supported appropriately when the project goes live. A draft SLA has been distributed, to the relevant IS team members, by Apps Management. Comments have been fed back to Apps Management IssuesNone Points to noteELTC have decided to continue testing on the Test VM rather than move to the Live VM - last month they had hoped to move to the live machine in order to avoid duplication of data entry but they do not feel that they are yet in a position to do this. The Live VM is prepared and we are awaiting the go-ahead from ELTC to move to it. Next StepsELTC are to proceed with their testing on the Test VM

STU226 Timetabling Extended Implementation
Category: Funded Milestones No detailed milestones has been set, awaiting estimates These rough milestones are provisional awaiting analysis and input from the technical teams
RAG Status AMBER - Scope and estimates still to be nailed down | Report by Jamie Thin for August 2012 This projects builds on the initial delivery from STU215. Project is in planning stage. There are has been recent dialogue to define the critical path across the Timetabling programme and this has resulted in some re-planning to align STU226 with the all the critical elements to deliver personalised timetables. Initial budget for IS Apps for Timetabling in 12/13 is 640 days effort, of which 36 days have been spent to date on initiation and planning. Two further projects have now been split out of STU226 : STU227 to deliver the Upgrade to v3.2 Enterprise and STU228 to deliver the Interfaces - this has allowed IS Apps to deliver more , more quickly and to allow the well-defined tasks to be started now. The provisional budget allocations are now : STU226 (personalised student timetables) 345 days STU227 (v3.2 upgrade) 70 days STU228 (interfaces) 225 days Estimates for this future work will be refined as initial analysis and design work progresses - at this stage during planning estimates may only be accurate to +- 20%.
Meetings with MVM , Accommodation Services, Learn and SACS to better define scope and start business analysis of requirements
Request for scoping project to investigate possibilities of providing Timetabling data to EUCLID to enable clash-checking at point of course enrolment.
