Report by Richard Bailey for March 2019
Achievements this Period
- The Issue #9: UHI Authentication / Setup Azure AD Issue was resolved
- New milestones were agreed with the Project Team, UHI and at WIS (29-Mar-2019) after the Authentication issue was resolved, paying particular attention to deployment dates
- Acceptance testing and sign off against Serving Quick Calls from a suffix to enable Azure authorisation - static files problem completed
- Test Instance Sign Off (With Azure) - UoE - completed
Issues
- Risk #1: Securing Resource Required to Complete Works Within Timescales. The Authentication Issue #9 is now resolved, however it has led to a compressed time frame to still deploy the TEST / LIVE service to UHI within the newly agreed time frames with little / no contingency. UHI also need to meet their deadlines / agreed sign offs in order to manage this, which they have accepted / signed off. The newly agreed milestones were agreed at WIS 29-Mar-2019. The Project remains AMBER due to this compression of time frames / lack of contingency.
Next Steps
- Complete Live Environment Build Complete (With Azure Authentication)
- Complete Live Environment Quick Calls Enabled - Deployed to all Members
- Complete Live Environment Person Import
- Complete Test Environment Quick Calls Enabled
- Complete Test Environment - Customer Sign Off
- Complete Quick Calls Test Environment - Customer Sign Off
- Complete Live Environment Handover to UHI
- Complete Live Instance Sign Off (With Azure / Quickcalls Authentication)
- Complete Live Environment - Customer Acceptance Sign Off

Report by Colin Watt for March 2019
Achievements in Last Period
- PM held meetings with Mark Ritchie, Stefan Kaempf and Susan Cooke to determine the scope of the project; it was agreed that a pre-planning activity be undertaken to outline the basic options and costs to establish a scaleable service that can be formally funded and supported (with consideration to end of life issues with the local platform, licensing, application upgrades and ongoing support, versus a migration to Journyx's Cloud solution).
- Mark R to take options to SLT (April) for discussion on costs vs benefits, so that a decision can be made on what the project should deliver; that steer will determine the scope to be developed in the planning milestone.
- A paper outlining options and costs has been produced for that decision to be made.
Issues
Next Steps
- Decision from SLT to determine project scope.
- Commence formal project planning milestone.
- Review estimates.
Project RAG status is AMBER due to uncertainty over project scope. Expectation that this should be resolved early April and that the project can then be delivered 18/19.
