Achievements this Period

• Work has continued to attempt to resolve the Authentication issue that is occurring with the RCA SAML, but has not been successful, however a workaround has been agreed to provide local authentication (see Issues below)

Issues

• Risk 3:  RCA authentication model (Open Athens) is out of date and on legacy code. While it is SAML 2 there is a risk that this is not fully operable with the UniDesk service  (AMBER)   There has been an issue with authentication.  This risk tracks this.  We have still thus far been unable to resolve the authentication issue with RCA, however a workaround has been agreed to use Local Authentication instead.  Steps need to be determined to understand the implications of this and set new Project deliverables.  RCA have been recommended to upgrade.

Next Steps

• In light of the issue /  risk #3 above, with RCA having a legacy authentication model and local authenication now being applied, the Project / milestones will need to be reviewed with Project Team / Customer.  Once confirmed a PICCL will be raised to WIS
