Achievements in Last Period 

• Terms and Conditions and Contract now signed off with Supplier
• Initial Completion report drafted and issued to RIS team manager and Project Sponsor for review
• Dev tech resource engaged to review single sign on with supplier

Issues

• Remaining milestones have been agreed to be removed and earlier closure date by Project Sponsor however on submission to IS Applications Governance this was not approved as they have asked for review by  Production Management to have closure milestone agreed

Next Steps

• Provision of single sign on information
• Completion report completed and project closure approval

The project status is AMBER this is due to the revised project milestones e.g. earlier closure date not  approved at Internal IS Application review, stating agreement required from Production Management for removing implementation stage of project, this can now take place as Terms and Conditions have been signed off and information regarding single sign being made available by Supplier. Revised milestone to be agreed for closure

• 5.13 TEST Tomcat upgrade, refresh and upgrade completed 9 July
• UAT completed and signed off by business team
• Preparation activity for live deployment - Go CAB, Service Alert and communication to users

Issues

• Revised milestone for Live deployment to 8th August
• Descoped GDPR activity
• Reduction of budget for descope work and additional deployment agreed and approved

Next Steps 

• 5.13.4 Live Tomcat upgrade scheduled for 8th August
• Commence prep work for Cloud portal
• Data refresh for Dev and Test from Live
• Commence Java Upgrade in Dev and Pure 5.15.1 upgrade for Dev

Achievements in Last Period

• Business requirements document (BRD) signed off by GaSP
• Remaining milestones have been replanned

Issues

• Documents have not been circulated to a wider audience due to waiting on information form Core Systems
• The follow-up meeting with Core Systems team has been delayed due to a Systems meeting through the Finance Transformation Board.
• BA has left the University, While this does not have a significant impact as the BRD is all but signed off, this will involve some additional tasks for the Data Architect. This has been planned in early August.  

Next Steps 

• Circulate BRD to wider stakeholders for comment
• Hold follow up meeting with Core Systems team 
• Create updated Options Appraisal document, circulate to stakeholders  
• Move to Closure
