Achievements in Last Period 

• Terms and Conditions are now with Supplier to sign off

Issues

• Remaining milestones have been agreed to be removed and earlier closure date by Project Sponsor however on submission to IS Applications Governance this was not approved as they have asked for review by Senior Supplier and Production Management. As this project does not have a Senior Supplier role the Project Manager will review with Head of Production Management and resubmit revised milestones.
• This will be dependent on the successful sign off of the Terms and Conditions which will allow single sign on information being shared with the project team
• Terms and Conditions timescales to complete have been impacted due to discussions around accessibility and liability which Project Sponsor has confirmed should now allow these to be signed off early July.
• Concerns that Procurement have not been communicating updates on progress

The project status is AMBER this is due to the revised project milestones e.g. earlier closure date not  approved at Internal IS Application review, stating agreement required from Production Management for removing implementation stage of project. However this is dependent on Terms and Conditions being signed off and information regarding single sign on being provided by Supplier. Project Sponsor has advised expectation these will be signed off early July.

RIS007 PURE Upgrades v5.13 to 5.15

Achievements in Last Period

• 5.13 DEV upgrade complete
• Re-estimate of project including additional scope item approved by WIS
• 5.13 TEST  - upgrade in progress at time of writing.
• Resources confirmed for DevTech.

Issues

• Delay in upgrade to 5.13 DEV has resulted in tight timescales which means 5.13 Live milestone being pushed back to 8 August (from 31 July).

Next Steps 

• 5.13 TEST Tomcat upgrade, refresh and upgrade to commence 1 July, due complete 9 July.
• Thereafter 5.13 Live upgrade will be commenced, with new milestone date request to WIS for 8 August.
• ASORs requested by Suran Perera -  WIS submission made for 5 July for two ASOR milestones; 5.13 (25 Jul) and 5.15 (17 Oct).
• Business has requested GDPR be de-scoped. WIS submission made for 5 July.
• 5.13 Live milestone – WIS submission made for 5 July for milestone date change  to 8 August, from 31 July.

The project status is AMBER due to the following: continued limitation of DevTech resource availability to deal with any unplanned work

RIS008 REF2021 Data Requirements Analysis

Achievements in Last Period

• AS IS processes signed off 
• Business requirements document (BRD) in progress nearing completion. GaSP have confirmed the documented requirements are correct. 

Issues

• Further REF guidelines from REF UK have issued more information about the auditing process. This will require access to current systems that will be impacted by the implementation to of the new core Finance/HR. We need to ensure access to the current, then legacy systems, in order to provide the required audit data for the REF submission. 
• The Project Sponsor is only available until 15th July before going on maternity leave, this is putting additional time pressure on answering a multitude of questions in time to produce a revamped options appraisal. 

Next Steps 

• Circulate BRD to wider stakeholders for comment and sign off
• Hold discussions with Core Systems team regarding dates for legacy system access (see above)
• Document TO BE processes based on signed off BRD
• Create updated Options Appraisal document, circulate to stakeholders  
• Move to Closure

The project status is AMBER  - Access to current HR system will be required into early to mid-2021 to provide data for the REF Audit process. The current dates for Core Systems implementation are an issue as availability after July 2020 is an unknown. The project team are meeting with Core Systems team to discuss on 4th July 2019.
