Activities completed

• Web Services sign off achieved for  UAT
• Acceptance sign off for deployment to Live
• Go CAB approval given
• Live deployment preparations completed, including Service Alert, Implementation plan and deployment resource confirmed, also 3rd party supplier support for weekend implementation
• Revised milestones and additional budget approved
• Deployment of UPM and 5.12.4 to Live completed and signed off on 24th April following successful run of Award and Project Synch overnight jobs

Issues

• RIS Programme Manager has stepped into project manager role assisting with preparations in advance of implementation and during Live deployment
• During implementation all activities were completed successfully until final 2 steps of plan - Award and Projects syncs. As we required development resource to investigate we delayed final activity until Monday morning to investigate. Issue was due to lack of space in database to update tables. Restore of database following update of additional capacity and rerun of steps allowed the implementation to complete late Monday and syncs jobs were allowed to run overnight.

• Complete final production handover activities 
• Review of remaining JIRAs and re- allocation where required to RIS007
• Deployment Sign off review

Achievements in Last Period

• Terms and Conditions being progressed 
• Feedback from suppliers regarding accessibility changes

Issues

• Limited activity on project due to PM on sick leave and Programme Manager aligned to other priority RIS projects
• Project Sponsor confirmed no requirement for PM for implementation therefore project will commence closure activity
• Single sign on to be managed via UNIDESK request once supplier provides details
• Remaining milestones will be withdrawn and new closure date agreed
• Concerns around Terms and Conditions timescales to complete and also impact of non development of accessibility requirements by supplier

• Confirmation of Terms and Conditions agreed
• Completion report

The project status is AMBER this is due to the project being over budget, project implementation milestones to be withdrawn and revised closure date agreed.

• New Project Manager has taken over
• Milestones replanned
• Enterprise Architecture in progress
• Initial Options Paper drafted and circulated to key stakeholders
• As is processed documented and shared with the project team

Issues

• With the delays due to sickness, the project is playing catch up. 
• The business analyst is going on leave then fully booked on other work, so a new BA will pick up this work next month

Next Steps 

• Business analysis to be handed over due to annual leave
• To Be business processes to be defined and documented
• Business Requirements Document to be finalised
• Revised Options paper produced
• Enterprise Architecture produced
• Revised costing of options

The project status remains at AMBER due to revised milestones.

• Application Management requested that final tidy up activity be undertaking e.g. TAD prior to closure
