RES069 PURE UPGRADE TO NEW PROJECT MODEL

Activities completed

• Outstanding JIRA's have been prioritised accordingly
• Resource conflict agreement gained for Software Development and Dev Technology resource presented to WIS
• Revised milestone agreed following prioritisation of outstanding JIRAs
• Project Plan has been revised accordingly

Issues

• Project Issue 20 raised to confirm resource conflict and approval of revised milestones and adjusted budget days

Next Steps

• Complete Development work
• Complete testing on fixed JIRA's
• Revise deployment plan
• Secure DEV Tec resource to deploy the UPM into DEV

RAG Commentary

Resource conflict agreed and developer resource allocated to prioritised JIRAs. Project milestones have been agreed by project team and additional funding being approved. With resource secured the project team expect to deliver the project in March 2019 which will allow the next Pure Upgrade (RIS007) to complete as planned without impacting on REF timelines.

Achievements in Last Period

• Evaluation team have been establised and meetings have been set up for evaluation

• Supplier Demonstrations have been scheduled with the business and the potental vendors have been advised of these dates

• Clarification questions have been received and responded by the business

• Respond to any clarification questions that may be submitted
• ITT Evaluation workshops set up for January
• System Demonstration workshops set up for January

RIS006 Worktribe Upgrade V3

Achievements in Last Period

• Hotfix 2.3.491 has been signed off (not within the scope of this project however it was a dependency prior to progressing with the version 3 upgrade)

• WT Dev environment upgraded to v3

Issues

There are no issues to report at this stage.

Next Steps 

• Worktribe v3 upgraded into TEST
• Test Plan Developed
• UAT commences
• Revised project plan to be issued
• PICCL to be presented to WIS for approval

RIS007 PURE Upgrades v5.13 to 5.15

Achievements in Last Period

• Project Brief has been drafted but not circluated to delays with a dependency project RES069; the timescales cannot be defined whilst awaiting on the UPM progressing through all environments

• The project team are aware of this and have been establised.

Issues

There is one issue to report at this stage:

PICCL 1: End of Planning Milestone not achieved and potential suspension of project until RES069 is completed.

Next Steps 

• PICCL to be presented to WIS and the business with a view to suspend the project until RES069 is complete; estimated at least two months
• RES069 is complete and PURE environments are available to upgrade
• Project brief approved
• Project Team established

RAG Commentary

There is a dependency upon the delivery of the UPM (RES069) prior to commencing future upgrades.  Until we have deployed the UPM throughout all environments, all environments are unavailable to begin the next upgrades.

RIS008 REF2021 Data Requirements Analysis

• Project team has been established including Project Sponsor

• Business Analyst has been assigned to the project

• Enterprise Architect has been assigned to the project

Issues

There is one issue to report at this stage:

PICCL 1 : End of Planning Milestone not achieved due to key personnel being on annual leave for the festive period

Next Steps 

• PICCL presented to Business and WIS for approval on revised dates
• Project Brief approved.
• Business Analysis commences
• Initial Business Requirements Workshop scheduled for 14th January 2019

RAG Commentary

The end of planning milestone has not been met due to annual leave commitments over the festive period however full plan including resourcing will be vaiid at next reporting period and the first Business Requirements workshop has been scheduled for 14th January 2019
