Programme Commentary
The overall programme is progressing with the following projects : -
- RES069 - Resource is now not available until September and request to suspend project until end of August has been submitted for WIS approval
- RIS003 - PURE now upgraded 5.11.2 in LIVE and next upgrade has been deployed to development
- RIS004 - Worktribe hot fix now deployed to Live and v2.5 deployed to dev and test
- RIS005 - Ethics Tool procurement now in planning stage
There is a planning project which aligns to PURE Cloud Portal however as advised by Elseveir this is not available until 5.13 propose to move this 10 day project into 18/19.
Programme status currently AMBER as project milestones are moving further into 18/19 for RES069 and RIS003 due to the dependency between the projects and concerns regarding sponsored funded budgets for resource is increasing. 3 year planning proposals have still to be confirmed to allow projects to start for financial year 18/19.
Project manager resource has been extended to end of September and looking to have confirmation of further funding to be made available

The project status is RED Issue – The project has lost Software Development resource to several projects which has directly stopped any further development until the resource returns to the project. The impact is that the original timeline of project completion in 17/18 is no longer achievable and there is no budget allocated to complete the project in the next financial year. We have replanned the project timelines which includes suspending the project until September once resource is available to complete the development work. The revised timeline has been agreed with the Project Sponsor and key stakeholders. The issue of the 18/19 budget will be discussed with the ISG Portfolio Manager and Programme Owner (L&UC) during July. No action by SMT is required.

The project status is AMBER - The testing for the hotfix within the TEST environment has not been completed and signed off within the timescales agreed in the project plan. In addition to this, the Go Live date has had to be cancelled due to an issue that has arisen and a lack of resource to undertake testing due to staff illness. |

The project status is RED Issue - Original scope can't be delivered within current budget - either cut scope to fit budget, or project sponsor will need to provide additional funding for R&D to investigate options for providing own data back to IGMM and Roslin, in a format they can run their own reports
