Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary

During June, planning for USG013 Clearing 2019 was completed. We note a change of scope from last year clearing project USG010 Clearing 2018: There will be no central rUK clearing but Scottish Clearing will include an additional information line for prospective applicants.

USG012 ThankQ Infrastructure Upgrade was delayed as more technical input was required. This impacted on the timeline and required rescheduling of internal and supplier resources. As a result this project will extend into next session with closure schedule for early September. 

USG014 Development and Alumni CRM Procurement is progressing according to plan.

All projects are reporting a GREEN RAG status. The overall USG Other Programme status is GREEN.

Issues

  • TAD out of date which has delayed progress and required a re-booking of Access Group and IS Resources.

Achievements in Last Period

  • First combined meeting for Embargo & Clearing with all Stakeholders took place in order to discuss further steps
  • Development of the SharePoint Site was initiated
  • All Meetings within the Clearing Period are set up
  • Project Brief was signed off

Issues

  • SharePoint Development might primarily be conductible in June due to the limited availability of the resources from July onwards

Next Steps​

  • Further clarification and finalisation of the required SharePoint Development required
  • Project Services Intern to start SharePoint training to potentially be able to cover
