AMBER

Report by Chris Konczak for February 2019

Achievements in Last Period

  • Delay in planning and new planning date agreed
  • Project kick off meeting held to discuss the approach
  • Brief circulated

Issues

  • At the project kick off meeting it was requested and decided to have an analysis phase before the brief was re-circulated for final approval. This analysis phase would be to review what work is required to bring the infrastructure up to the level required to support ThankQ for the next two years (infrastructure build and application install and configuration, plus data migration. The AccessGroup are also being asked to provide a quote for the same work and these will be compared. In both cases UoE would provide the VMs for the upgrade.
  • Dev Tech availability has delayed this analysis phase to commence from 04/03, and therefore the brief signoff milestone is delayed.

Next Steps

  • Gather the information for AccessGroup vs UoE for doing the upgrade
  • Update the project brief
  • Circulate for sign off.
