Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update
Commentary
Overall the USG Other Programme is GREEN, as it is expected that planned essential work can be completed in this year. This is GREEN with the note that the utilisation rate is low due to:
- The contingency held within the USG Other Programme (32d as programme contingency and 55d as portfolio contingency).
- Work started early in USG010, which will increase in the coming weeks.
- If the above items are removed from the budget the utilisation rate is running at 93% for the year to date.
USG002 - AMBER - due to vendor not delivering on agreed date of 19-Mar-18, instead expecting to be early April with an expected knock-on delay to the closure date. Delivery ahead of 25-May-18 remains feasible and likely. While the risk remains for the potential that consent may need to be sought if legitimate interest is no longer a viable proposal this is now very low probability.
USG010 - GREEN - project initiated earlier than planned to enable the room allocation issue to be resolved: likely alternative space identified in Argyle House.
USG011 - AMBER - delivery likely to be delayed due to under-estimation of work involved, increase in complexity of solution required, and prioritisation of GDPR SharePoint work. Risk of estimate increase.
