Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update
During July,SSG008 (ESS functions for PGT) has been deployed to LIVE as planned on 8th July. There is a planned post go-live deployment beginning of October with prioritised enhancements. This will depend on whether this is approved by the SACS Board as ESS funding for 13/14 was not approved and this would request SSP resources.
SSG010 (ESS Small Enhancements) has been closed and its single deliverable has been built as part of SSG008, it is planned for delivery on 1st Oct.
SSG009 (ESS architecture review): the reports for the first 3 meetings have been reviewed by the project team . For the last deliverable, the features of the application will be summarised and the project will be closing early August.
MVM Ring Fenced Days project was withdrawn.
Resources Update
SSG008 was delivered under budget (-11 days). There are 27 days carry over to 13/14, but as mentioned above the SSP resources will need to be approved by the SACS board as there are no ESS funding for 13/14 yet.

AP23-012 Training Records for Research Legislation Compliance Planning August 2013 Delivery Uncertain, possibly December 2013 RAG Status GREEN | Plan Biological Services have requested that this project be deferred to the start of the next academic year in August 2013. This project is to be deferred as planned carry-over for 13/14 during the mid-year review in January 2013.
Dependencies This is dependent on the UK Government enacting the legislation to correspond to the European legislation which came into force on 01-Jan-2013. This project cannot start until the UK Government requirements are known. Outcome to be deferred until final decision is made about the ESS funding for 13/14. |
