Commentary

CSE001 PATH - 

CSE Portfolio Owner is collating requests for utalisation of the ring fenced days. 

 

Projects of interest in other programmes or portfolios;

ITS092 BOXI Upgrade (https://www.projects.ed.ac.uk/project/its092) - LIVE migrations underway and communications with users ongoing. 

Enterprise Reagent Manager Upgrade (https://www.projects.ed.ac.uk/project/pps005) - ERM will be upgraded in January 2014. School of Chemistry involved in discussions regarding planning and testing. Project will focus on upgrading the software rather than delivering any enhancements. 

Timetabling Programme (https://www.projects.ed.ac.uk/programme/ttu) - 'MyTimetable' - Personalised Timetables for Taught Students (via MyEd) went live in August 2013

eRecruitment Phase 2 (Talent Pool) now likely to delivery January 2015 to allow the University to benefit from enhanced functionalityby including a major upgrade to the software in the project. eRecruitment Project Board will review and agree timescales early February 2014.

  • Path: deployment to MyEd channel to Live

Issues

  • Overspent agreed Budget: additional effort agreed with sponsor to investigate a new version of Path, and collect feedback from staff and students. Additional budget requested from IS Apps as per issue https://www.projects.ed.ac.uk/project/sce001/issues/5 has been approved

Next Steps

  • Delay closure to allow next Steering Group meeting in March to get further feedback form the 3 schools (from student,  and staff at the liaison commitee early Feb)
