Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary:

During June, more effort was spent in SCEP02 -Virtual Edinburgh PM Consultancy and Support to support the participation of the CityScope project in the bid for funding as part of the larger City Deal proposal. The scope for the contribution from CityScope is now clearer but the overall strategy for the bid is still evolving. The status is AMBER.

The final report for SCE011 - ExamOnline Trial is waiting sign-off.  Feedback on the evaluation report is being addressed.

The overall status is RED.

Section Two: Projects Not Started

AP67-073 16/17 Ring Fenced Allocation for CSCE

The 150 days of core funding have now all been allocated. The current allocations are:

  • An extra 3 days have been allocated to SCE010 in addition to the original 12 days, see issue 38.
  • 10 days to SCE011, see issue 40.
  • 30 days have been granted to support efforts to integrate STACK with Learn, see issue 39.
  • 50 days have been allocated to support EdWeb effor in UWP015, see issue 41.
  • 3 days to support an investigation of database migration for Geosciences, see issue 43.
  • 42 days of core funding were released to ISG, see issue 43.

  • Additional funding required for full-scale pilot (ongoing)
  • Departure of IS developer lead risks delivery of wider Cityscope aims as technical champion role unfilled (ongoing)
  • Scope for Cityscope input to Citydeal business will be unclear until after  meeting to be held with potential external collaborator  on 7/7/17

  • Review Cityscope input to Citydeal business case with Head of  IS

  • Estimate effort for next stage of Cityscope project
