Commentary:

The CSCE Programme / Portfolio is overall GREEN.

Please note that the project RAG status is following the revised guidelines: A one-page summary of the IS RAG status indicators is available on this page.

SCE010 - GREEN - BRD review has taken place. Next step to carry out UAT.

Although the CSCE projects related to the University's Virtual Edinburgh programme of work (now branded as Edinburgh Cityscope) have been delivered, IS continue to support the Virtual Edinburgh programme through both providing PM Consultancy and support and through work being completed under Innovation project API017 Virtual Edinburgh Foundations which is being funded by the University's CIO. Colleagues can follow this project's progress on its website.

AP56-034 15/16 Ring Fenced Allocation for CSCE

GREEN

  • The Portfolio Owner has approved the use of the remaining 10 days to complete gap analysis work with the UWP team and the College to help progress the College's use of EdWeb. The programme manager has requested College, UWP and IS resources between May and July to enable this project to be completed.

Achievements:

  • Project Sponsor updated on BRD changes
  • Workshop held to review requirements from a Business Change perspective, focussing on process change, reporting requirements and testing.
  • Requirements revised - only one new Extra Information Type needed for School Promotion Panel. No change needed to existing Flexible Working Extra Information Type.
  • New Absence Types created in DEV and TEST
  • School Promotion Panel Extra Information Type created on DEV and TEST
  • PPIPMI Universe changes made

Issues:

  • Resource allocated to Extra Info Type created left.  New contractor assigned and completed Extra Information Type work. Issue closed

Next Steps:

  • Develop new reports required
  • Carry out User Acceptance Testing
  • Communicate changes to processes
  • Make new Absence Types, new Extra Information Types, Universe changes and reports live
