RAG Status

Issue: AMBER: Delay in the final draft of the Business Analysis report being created due to Business Analyst leaving the business along with a resource conflict for the Project Manager.

Achievements

No work was undertaken on ISG009 in December due to the PM being unavailable as a result of a major corporate deployment.

Issues 

• Business Analyst left the business which impacted upon the completion of the report.
• Project Manager time required to be conflicted due to additional time required on a Priority One project.

Next Steps 

• Business Analysis report to be completed and passed out for review;
• Milestones to be reviewed and amended;
• Closure report to be completed;
• Project to be closed.

ISG011

IS Apps Procurement Question Set

RAG Status

AMBER: Due to the change due to be submitted to WIS on the 10th January, this project is now on tracking as Amber until approval has been gained to move the milestones to cover the remaining work required to complete the project.

Achievements

• All question sets (with the exception of 'Training & Implementation' and 'Product Roadmap' were signed off in November and re-formatted for consistency;
• Weighting calculations amended to account for the inclusion of an 'absolute weighting' to support Procurement;
• Scope of the project amended and signed off via WIS to remove the following:
  • Training & Implementation Question Set;
  • Product Roadmap Question Set;
  • Embedded PMO Governance.
• Project re-planned to account for the above requirements being de-scoped.
• Procurement confirmed that they believed the Wiki page would be OK to house the Procurement Question Sets.

Issues 

• Securing resource availability for the key stakeholders in order to complete the outstanding tasks proved to be an issue which resulted in the overall time scales and budget of the project being extended and ultimately resulted in requirements being de-scoped.
• PMO were unable to provide resource to support in the PMO governance requirement which resulted in this being de-scoped.

Next Steps

• 'Training & Implementation' and 'Product Roadmap' owner to confirm which working version of both question sets should be used.  Once confirmed, these will require to be reformatted in line with all other question sets.
• Delivery and Closure milestones to be amended (to allow for the final review by Procurement) and passed via WIS.
• Delivery of the question sets.
• Closure report to be completed.
• Project to be closed.
